Frequent Questions

Photography coaching can help you tackle a wide range of creative and business challenges — from refining your portfolio and strengthening your visual voice to improving client communication, pricing, workflow, and decision‑making. Whether you’re stuck on a specific project or navigating a bigger transition, coaching gives you focused guidance to move forward with clarity.

Intensive Sessions are ideal when you have one specific challenge you want to solve — like refining your portfolio, improving your website, or working through a creative or business roadblock. Ongoing Mentoring is the better fit if you’re looking for consistent support, accountability, and long‑term guidance as you grow your creative business. If you’re unsure, we can start with an Intensive Session and decide together what serves you best.

Yes — in my coaching I cover both the creative and business sides of your work. Additionally we can look at specific tools to support you in your daily work. We can dig into portfolio development, creative direction, and workflow just as easily as pricing, client communication, website strategy, or business planning. Wherever you need clarity, we focus on the areas that will move you forward.

Yes. I’m based in Western Massachusetts, so we can meet in person if you’re local. If you’re farther away or simply prefer the convenience of meeting from your own space, online sessions work beautifully too.

To get the most out of your first session, come with a sense of what you’d like to focus on — a specific challenge, a project you’re working on, or an area of your business that feels unclear. I’ll also send you a short questionnaire beforehand so we can use the time to the fullest and have the scope of the session clearly defined. You don’t need anything formal — just clarity about what you want to walk away with.

Focus Sessions are designed as one‑time deep dives, so support happens during the session itself. With Mentoring, you get ongoing access between calls, which means you can check in, ask questions, or get clarity whenever something comes up.

What sets my coaching apart is the combination of real business expertise and years of hands‑on photography experience. I take a structured, streamlined approach that helps you simplify the tasks that drain your energy, so you can focus on the creative work that lights you up.
